Born into a humble Gujarati family in the vibrant slums of Mumbai, Sagar Amlani’s early years were marked by resourcefulness and perseverance. The bustling environment taught him the value of time, relationships, money, education, and life.

A pivotal moment came when his family lost everything in the flood of July 26, 2005. Amidst this adversity, his mother’s words, “Nature has everything in abundance; learn to channelize it,” ignited a new zeal in Sagar, fostering his resilience and grit.

Determined to restore his family’s dignity, Sagar worked multiple jobs and aspired to study abroad. In September 2007, he secured a scholarship at a university in London, beginning his educational journey. He worked part-time to fund his education as a loader, bartender, and litter picker, and he also gave tuition for maths and chemistry.

The challenges of his early life became the foundation of his unique perspective as a Productivity Explorer. He completed his Master’s in 2009 in London, further honing his skills and expertise.

In 2010, the family got their respect, dignity and pride as they moved out of the slums to a flat in Mumbai, which they peacefully live in without the fear of water seeping in through the floor or leaking roof.
Sagar’s dream was fulfilled in 2016 when he shifted his whole family to their own Villa.

From a Trainee to Vice President, Sagar progressed in his career.

In 2018, he initiated and hosted the LinkedIn Local community in Hyderabad.

In his drive to give back to society, he combined networking via LinkedIn local events to fund and build an orphanage.

Today that orphanage serves 40 kids

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Sagar turned adversity into opportunity by pursuing an Executive Master’s in Change Management from the University of Glasgow & and writing his first book, “At the Crossroads of Life.”

Sagar founded Zapro Consultants, starting a new career as a keynote speaker and author. His second book, “The Key,” and his bestseller, “The Power of AIM,” have impacted over 10,000 individuals.

Sagar continues to inspire as a global keynote speaker, author of three bestsellers, and business consultant, demonstrating the power of resilience and the value of early life challenges. He remains committed to giving back to society and enriching lives.
