A 2015 study by Brigham Young University demonstrated that absenteeism was reduced by 27% when employees had a healthy lifestyle, exercised regularly, and ate healthy foods.
Good Health can enhance an individual’s productivity by improving their physical capacity. Productivity is largely a factor in an employee’s desire to work. Just because they have the physical power to do more work doesn’t necessarily mean they will. But to be more accurate, improved Health can improve a worker’s ability to be more productive.
