Excellent companies and successful personalities execute better than their competition.” While this may seem like common sense, many companies fail to execute effectively.

Execute

Study shows that 60-70% of business strategies are not implemented successfully.

Execution is the single most significant market differentiator, as all have only 24 Hrs at hand, delegation, as discussed earlier, helps us leverage.

Let’s understand how to execute more with less using the 4E methodology.

1.Engage

It is imperative to engage yourself / your team to work with you on the goals, and we can achieve this by clear communication. Be clear about what matters the most and why to achieve the desired goals. Engagement leads to motivation and a feeling of ownership (Gets you the buy-in).

2.Empower

It is imperative to empower yourself / your team with the right skills and resources to execute. A study of 7000 employees conducted by Joseph Folkman and published by Forbes showed empowered employees showed 54% higher engagement.

3.Encourage

The first step is always the most difficult and the most important; hence inertia is required to take the first step, and the rest follows. It is essential to encourage yourself / your team to act by highlighting the positive change, triggering positive emotions, and showering trust.

4.Evaluate

It is imperative to evaluate the progress or bottleneck. Setting up accountability for various milestones to achieve the desired goals that help us be on track and calibrate as necessary.

As we learn in the earlier alphabet “C” celebrating small wins helps us achieve more, evaluating our achievements will provide us with a reason to celebrate.
